Latin American theology

Latin American theology
   This term refers to a contextual theology that interprets the Gospel within the Latin American experience of colonialism, oppression, and poverty. Latin American theology is a type of liberation theology insofar as it makes a fundamental option for the poor and attempts to find ways of liberating people from the oppression of structural sin.
